Take a photo. How difficult is that? Now imagine doing that for almost 4.5 years – from 26th september year 2006 till 12th may year 2011.  One of many amazing internet projects presents us a daily photo compilation of  a young woman. We clearly see how time passes away but she doesn’t changed a lot. Maybe because of the cosmetics? It’s for you to decide. Hm … maybe they have such videos for some 40 years?

The world of dreams is amazing. We approach a fantasy land during our dreams. Photographer Jan von Holleben knows that. And the German newspaper ZEIT knows Jan von Holleben. ZEIT asked the photographer to create visual work for a feature on dreams and what they mean to us.  Jan von Holleben is known for his Dreams of Flying so this was his case.
The photographer says: “I was a bit bored by redoing my Dreams of Flying images,” he tells us, “but the more I worked on the layouts and ideas, the more excited I became. I started imagining generic dreams but soon decided to make it about a girl’s full night of dreams. That was the key. I looked for a beautiful girl to work with who was not too model-like but instead was very natural, sweet and happy to try various things with me. It’s never a normal photo shoot with my productions as we improvise a lot and try and play.”

Now take a simple 50 cent coin and imagine how big it is for an ant or a worm, maybe even for a mouse. The design studio Skrekkøgle from Norway just found out that not only small objects look small but also the big ones if you just try a little.

The project called “Big Money” is all about large objects shot as miniatures using a giant coin and tilt-shift effect. So what they did is they did made a giant 20:1 replica of a 50 cent Euro coin making the objects look like tiny toy replicas. And they really look like ones.

Here you see the giant coin. And you don’t even need any zoom or special effects. It’s all about the proportions and the idea itself.

The photo mash-up concept is a very popular one. Previously we presented you the “Pencil vs. Camera concept” by Ben Heine. Now something similar but not the same by Taylor Jones “Picture of a Picture from the Past in the Present”.

Not only people have memories but also places where these people have lived. A beautiful countryside or a town where you lived your childhood with loving parents or friends.

A good example of how old can add value to new. This is quite easy to do if you have a camera and some old photos. So have a good time.

A great mash-up of a drawing and a photo. The image has a graphic supplement that makes it two eyevisions in one.

Somehow the drawed image is a tool for your fantasy to get inside the reality of the photo.  No doubt, that is a very clever creative idea.

Apple iPhone phones are essential in our daily life. We take them absolutely everywhere and use it for different ideas. We always can put something on a higher level. Earlier we had presented some wedding ideas and now there is one more.

Today we tell about this wedding photo-shot. Isn’t that great. Here you can see the wedding thing from start till the end. Now you can put the whole wedding experience in one smart phone.

There aren’t many events in your life that can create unforgettable memories. One of  them are weddings. So how about wedding ideas. Alexander Bickov, web designer from Latvia and got married once and thought that he can use a wedding idea like this.

Often you can see wedding cars riding the streets with old cans and a sign “Just married”. That’s a great wedding tradition and usually has a nice design. Alexander recycled that wedding idea into something more practical.

One moment you have to stop and get some rest, so you go to sleep. If you are on camping you will probably sleep in a tent. Alexander attached the sign to his tent in his wedding trip. This is the actual photo from his wedding trip. And as you see now everybody knows who lives in that tent (you can hope that nobody will bother you then) – a married couple on a vacation.

You can transform it and use “Just married” for absolotely anything – from tents to houses, from cars to bikes etc.
